Any idea why my WMP "Play To" function wont work for me?

Hi,

I have both a Panasonic All8 and Jongo 3 Wireless Speaker in the house. I recently read about the "Play To" feature in WMP (from my Windows 7 laptop) to allow direct streaming to such devices.

When I Right Click on a song and select "Play To", both speakers appear on the list of devices that comes up.

However, neither will actually play! It all seems well up to the point of pressing the Play button and then nothing!

Naturally, this is causing me great frustration.

Am I right to assume that, as the WMP software recognises the speakers then it SHOULD be able to stream to them?

AND, if this is the case, does anyone have any idea why it won't do this? Is there some magic setting I need to disable/enable somewhere that will allow the music to stream?

Many thanks,

Mark

Go to windows media player on your computer. Click on "stream" and make sure your Xbox One is on the list of devices you can stream to. Once the streaming settings are all set up, right click on the files in WMP you want to stream and choose "play to" then select your Xbox One. This is how I do it with Windows 7, not sure if it's different for Windows 8.
