Hello all

Can anyone tell me if anyone has a Windows 7 compatible wired print server.

I just upgraded to 7 ultimate and was using the NetGear PS121V2 on XP and it worked great and thought I was OK as its on MS's approve list but this thing barely works and it took me hours to get installed and working right, certainly wasn't like how it installed on XP.

In my searching I haven't seen anything else though other then some with complicated work arounds and stuff like that so again...

Does anyone know of a simple basic lone one port print server that is all set up and ready to install on Win7 64.

Thanks for any help

Just to give a update to my own post

I bought a IOGear MN: GPSU21 single port print server for this and it works like a charm.

Install was a breeze and even though I have a HP 6122 Printer and am using the 990c drivers for it as that is what HP states to use for Win7 64, all of which were not listed on the GPSU21's approved printers list, it all still works great.

An I am using it all with two other XP machines without issue.

Note they state that the unit works with Win7 on the website but in the received documentation it does not list that but it still worked fine.

As well and forgive me as I don't have the spec info now, but the drivers I got on the disk and the ones stated to work with Win7 on their website are the same version numbers.

Point is, there was no need for me to use the web drivers over the disk.

Hope this helps others
