Any programs that can warn when a process is using this much RAM?

My Firefox tends to get rather unstable when memory usage gets above 2GB. (I have 6GB) It would be nice to have a program that monitors its memory usage and delivers a pop up or something when it gets above 2 GB, so that I may manually restart it before it crashes on me.

I know of no program that will do that.
Your specs show 4 gigs of ram
Use Resource Monitor to see what your ram is doing.
For FireFox to use up a lot of ram to slow down a computer you would have to have a lot of sites open at the same time.
You might have a lot of things running in the background that can cause high memory usage. To check use msconfic/Start Up

That is definitely a FF problem. Use a more friendly browser. And 2GB used from 6GB is completely normal.

If you want us to have a closer look, post a picture of the colored bar in Resource Monitor > Memory tab.

You can search FF add-ons for memory and see what you find that might help.
Here is one you can check out.
Memory Restart: This little add-on simply lets you set a maximum memory threshold, and allows you to choose either to be warned when it is reached, or to automatically restart Firefox. Memory Restart is a simple solution, and a good way to keep down the memory usage that creeps up over your day.

Hope this helps,
