I have a custom theme installed on my Win7 Pro system that did an excellent job in making my screens into a dark-shaded style for enhanced accessibility. But there is one (non-MS) software item that is not affected by the theme, and it is almost useless for me unless I can somehow change the appearance for the screens in this program.
I need what amounts to a high-contrast screen display to be able to see the displays, and this program does not allow the theme and/or Windows settings to modify its appearance. Is ther any kind of a "skin" I can get to enable me to use this one program? All other programs on my PC are fine with the custom theme I use, it is a great free theme called Dark Pearl VS:
and it suits me fine, once I learned to combine it with some additional custom Advanced Windows and Appearance settings. But this one program is unaffected by any such theme settings, nor by the Win7 high contrast settings, it has its own hard-wired low-contrast color scheme that in may areas is almost invisible to my limited vision.
Any help be appreciated..

I doubt what you want is possible. Applications have the ultimate control over their appearance. Most applications use the system defaults and will be effected by whatever theme is in use but some override the defaults and control things themselves. In that case, which appears to be the case with your program, there isn't much you can do. Unless the application has some appropriate settings you are likely out of luck.

Thanks for the replies. The software was Genie Timeline, a backup util. I contacted them and they said it was not possible, so they will refund my money. Nice folks.
Thanks all

Yes, it was nice. They are a good company with an excellent product, but my eyes are too old for it now. I only had it for a week, so that might have helped too.
