thought it was worth me asking to see if there is anything i need as im a newbie and i have just built my own pc

i have put ram heat spreads on and got a ram fan on its way

With proper cooling in a system, neither of those are needed, and in some cases, can damage memory. If your RAM didn't come with heat spreaders, I wouldn't add them. I'm curious as to what led you to think you needed them.

As for your question...that's about as vague as it gets. What types of accessories are you looking for? Are you asking because you feel like buying something, or is there an issue you are trying to address?

Tell us what you already have so we can see what else might be useful.

As Deacon said, the heat spreaders and RAM fan are likely useless.

You may need some better case fans depending on your temps and what fans you already have.

The main accessory you need is self-restraint with a side order of good judgement.

A Kill-a-watt isn't necessary, but it's a cheap handy device that you can also use throughout your house.

Decorative that's why I got the heat spreader and the ram fan is on the way I have 3 F12 fans liteon DVD drive 750 watt psu I'm getting the sapphire 7850 graphics card and just the stander stock fan with fx-8150 I think that's right and my temp are very stable at 25c idle and 40 is the max I have seen

Just like in the auto world, decorative is usually a bad word, and can have negative results. How good will the RAM look if one of the heat spreaders pulls apart a chip and runs the whole stick? If the RAM didn't come with them...then it runs cool enough without it and doesn't need them. Your system temps are good, so the last thing I'd want to do is add more to the case.

I say this often, but too many people spend too much time worry about things that matter little or don't matter at all. Spnd your time and efforts enjoying the new computer, rather than spending money and installing things that won't help at all.

How often do you plan to look at your RAM sticks anyway to see your decorative heat spreaders, anyway? Perhaps more often if you have a case with a window in the side of it. But since I don't like cases like that, I never see inside of my PC.

I have a Thermaltake eSATA HDD Dock that I use all the time. I like to test out different Linux Distros, which I install on a spare HDD, then set it to boot up in BIOS. It also makes system backups a breeze.
