Anyone know how Newegg handles these things...??

You'll get a couple of emails, the first being an invoice once your payment method has been charged, and the second being your UPS or FedEx tracking info. When it happens just depends on when NewEgg ships- if they ship for arrival on the 22nd, you should be seeing something today. On the other hand, if they're holding onto their inventory until the GA date, then you won't see any communication until Thursday.

I too ordered from Newegg. I contacted them via live chat to see what they said. They were very careful not to promise anything but said the shipping date will be the 22nd "most likely" from there it depends on what type of shipping you ordered. I got overnight hoping I could have it on Friday and work on it during the weekend. Good luck.:party:

BTW - you will get an e-mail for everything they do. Charge, ship, tracking # etc...

No, just go to live chat and tell them or cancel the order and re-order. (unless you got a price cut like me) Then just go to live chat and they will tell you if they can change it or not. They are pretty helpful. They can do anything from the live chat app. It's great. Good luck

No, I contacted them. They said they "hoped" to ship on the 22nd. That's what they told me. I was hoping for more too but it seems most will be getting W7 from Newegg next week. If you chose "standard shipping" you will not see it until Tue or Wed. This is why I chose next day shipping.

Mine shipped too. Depends on what shipping you ordered and how close you are to their shipping center. I will get mine tomorrow the 22nd. I wish I hadn't paid for overnight shipping now but I got $15 off so........I guess we're even. Should be nice to get it installed and not worry about the "next version"
