Anyone use this? I found a store with almost 500 reviews but 95% are 5 starts which makes me suspicious. Seems a one time fee for the hardware and after that all you pay is for taxes etc, about $5 a month. I was looking at magic jack but that thing has a $50 a year fee and a lot of bad reviews. Also, is the porting of your phone # a one time fee or yearly charge? The other thing that makes me nervous is they are impossible to get ahold of to ask questions, tho once you buy you can. So i can't ask questions b4 i buy.

Forget it. A deal like that I would not touch with a 10 foot pole. Sounds like a mouse trap.

I'm asking for opinions on those who have used it, not speculation. I can speculate as well as anyone but it's a pretty useless practice.

My neighbor uses Ooma on her ATT Internet service, she says it works just fine.
