Hi there all, I am kinda looking for a program that I can set a timer that counts down (say up to 2-3 hours or so) and when it hits 0 it can be set to say, shut down the pc or something. I often fall asleep with the pc on and I'd like to have something like this I can set incase I don't get back up so that the pc will shut itself down to save on electricity and such. Now I think there is a simmlar function in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, but kind of looking for a program that I can set more control over it.

Also in windows 7 on my task bar how do I set it so when I right click a program I can choose to Minimize, maximize, restore etc like windows xp had, I seem to be unable to find the setting for this myself and I am already using the windows classic look. I use the classic look because its just works, I'm not one for pretty bells and whistles. I personally HATED the default win xp/7 look and went to make it look like win98 as soon as I turned it on for the first time, was pretty much first thing I did on first boot.

I also am using a 450 watt psu with a geforce 560 gt 1gb, and a I5-2310, seems fine for the last year or so, but I am thinking I need to upgrade it, looking for a psu suggestion maybe from this site that is not to expensive. NCIX.com
I know using a 450 watt psu with this card and this cpu is borderlining it, just haven't had the funds to replace it yet, and I hate replacing stuff like this that still.. well works fine.

Thanks for any and all help with any of these issues.

You're looking for the Task Scheduler!

Open Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler.
This allows you to set any form of timer at any time to do anything you'd like. Even play a song in the mornings like an alarm clock!

Also in windows 7 on my task bar how do I set it so when I right click a program I can choose to Minimize, maximize, restore etc like windows xp had, I seem to be unable to find the setting for this myself and I am already using the windows classic look. To get the old menu up, just hold the Shift key down and right click on the taskbar item.

You will have to look at reviews for the available power supplies. Any knowledge you're given on this particular topic will be mostly subjective and personal — you're best looking for the most adequately priced 850w PSU if you think you need it!

Ahh was looking for something more.. simpler since I'd have to change the time often.

Googling says that card uses about 170 watts at peak load.

Assuming your 450 watt PSU is of decent quality, I'd go with it, but if you can't resist, here is a good unit from your supplier at a pretty good price. This PSU is made by Seasonic:

XFX 550W PRO550W Core Edition Single Rail ATX 12V 44A 24PIN ATX Power Supply 80PLUS Bronze

$60 less $10 rebate. Rebate expires 10/31/12.
