Anyone using a 5-button Trust mouse on 7?

I've tried multiple versions of Trust's mouse drivers for my model.
( trust.com/15080 ) But installed the drivers actually causes my mouse to stop responding!

I have to use my keyboard to navigate to the Control Panel and Uninstall the drivers to get mouse to function again.

Very odd.

Can a digital signature (or lack of) cause a complete cease in functionality for a device?

Any idea's?

(I've tried running the installers in various compatibility modes but had no luck. I've also tried decompiling the installer and browsing the extracted files but had no luck there either.)

QUICK EDIT: The mouse works fine as a 3 button device with the default Windows 7 drivers.
I've been trying the Trust drivers so I can enable the extra 2 mouse buttons.

Hi I'm using the Trust 3410 Wireless deskset, 15184, and am just using the default win7 drivers for both the keyboard and mouse without any problems all the extra keyboard keys work and the mouse buttons all work too

have also had no problems with either the wired or individual wireless mice without any drivers
