First Part
gonna get it on PC this time around
Don't. Just... Don't. Ubisoft's DRM and re-allocated controls make the game clearly more console-oriented. You won't gain much better experience on the PC. Save your money for other good games coming this year
Oh, and BTW, you may not notice, but I'm hyped as hell too xDDD
Personally, I think PC games are superior to consoles, full stop. That's mainly because I absolutely suck at using a controller and find a keyboard and mouse much easier.
I'm aware of the DRM... it sucks but I'll deal with it, also using a PS3 pad to play so no problem with the controls (Emulating the 360 on the DualShock using DS3 Tools... piece of cake, and the cake is not a lie this time), using PC for better resolution and Antialiasing to the full most possible by my videocard
As a guy who is good with pretty much anything that can play games I can tell that a Controller like the dualshock 3 or the 360 controller is far easier to use then keyboard and mouse for most games, but you can't play a MMO without keyboard and mouse, and FPS and RTS plays better with keyboard and mouse, getting used to control is easy you just have to try harder, once you do, I believe you'll be happy with it playing games like Tomb Raider (whatever Crystal comes up with next time) and Assassins Creed "Resurrection of Desmond in 2013"...
Some times I play Black ops with a pad on PC just for the lolz, I manage to get some kills with my DualShock 3 believe it or not, but no way I can get in first place on any game mode with a DualShock 3 pad... but that is just me...

Second Part
Yeah, well, the first game wasn't meant to be takes as a stand-alone game, but as a part of the Orange Box. P2 is much more hilarious and interesting, but the first game gets you into the swing of things![]()
Well, most of my friends agree. They've said the first one is good to ease you into the gameplay of Portal but beyond that, it's not the most entertaining game.
Main game is not that fun, but fun none the less, aside from Glados, I love Ellen, what I had the most fun with were the challenge maps, some brain was needed to pass them, I did it fairly fast... but it was way more challenging then the actual game, and that is why I love portal, I didn't pay for it... I got it with Half life 2 back in '07, and for a "free" game it was amazing, but I played it before playing portal 2 for nostalgia's sake and it was fun still, I do love the universe (Half Life Universe) and the whole story telling and comedy it has, all in all, awesome game for me at least
On a Side Note: OMG this is a very long post
On a Side Note to the Side Note: A little Quoteception I s going on on the first part of the post
