I've posted a couple times regarding videos always opening in a tiny window in Win7 x64 (from the initial beta's to the RTM I'm running right now). If I enlarge it at all, the picture looks terrible, and no one has been able to diagnose what the problem is. It doesn't matter what video it is, either, or format, as XP opens every one of them tested in a nice sized Window and it looks great. Perhaps XP upscales a lot better than Win7? If so, why?
So, I did some searching and found several of the same cases, all unresolved, but it seemed that most of them had 86/9600 GTS cards. It could be coincidence, but I wanted to throw this possibility out there in this forum to see what we could possibly drum up as for reasoning behind this.
I am running the latest 190.62 drivers from NVIDIA as well.
