Anyway to Verify a good V7 install

Hi.

Just reformatted and reinstalled W7 64bIT Ultimate Edition yesterday. However i am a bit concerned that when going into google that websites i have previously visited before the format are showing in the purple which is an indicator of being on them before. I also signed into Youtube last night and it remembered my old log on.

Also had a couple of error messages and i am just a bit concerned that somethings not went right with the install.

Is there anyway to verify a good install with W7 or that everything is ok?

Hi,

Can you be more specific about the error messages you got?

Also, can you check to see whether you have a C:\Windows.old folder on your disk?

If you transferred your files and settings including browser profiles from old Windows / install, this is how it's supposed to work.
