AOE II Conquerors Multiplayer LAN Problem!!!

Hello Guys!!!

I want to play aoe 2 multiplayer on lan but i am facing problems. I have laptop with win 7 32bit ultimate and my friend also have laptop with win 7 32bit ultimate but when i host game my friend unable to join my game and when he host game then i can't join the game sometimes game doesn't appear....Any idea what the problem is? any suggestions will be appreciated.....thanks!!!

Hello Hassan,

I have tried so many times to understand why this is, but for whatever reason, it is impossible to use LAN or the internet (without subscription) to connect to another player. Perhaps it is because the game is no longer supported, though it is strange that this effects Lan as well. I am not aware of any mods that change this, but you might look them up (be safe doing so, though!)
