Can someone explain to me the "Apache License 2.0", Can I make changes to the code? Can I sell it? Are there any restrictions?

Not to give you a short answer, but if the document doesn't make sense, I'd suggest consulting with an attorney. We're just dumb old computer geeks here.

The gist of this is that if you do make changes to any of the code or incorporate parts of the code into any product you SELL (or pass to others who eventually sell it on) all you are required to do is to acknowledge the original APACHE code / patent -- and NOT try and pass on your own product as being 100% developed by yourself.

Simply acknowledge that parts of your product were based / developed on using material supplied under the Apache license - and consult a Patent lawyer before deciding on the exact words you need to incorporate into your product.

Each jusrisdiction has a different set of local laws but a general international co-operation patent treaty can be used in signatory countries.

If you do it wrong then there are quite severe laws against infringing "Intellectual Property rights" in most countries -- the vigour with which Hollywood seems to be pursuing against well known torrent sites should warn you to do your homework seriously before going into the market. While it's Cat and Mouse against Torrent sites it's far far easier to persue an individual and the penalties for infringement can be enormous so while not trying to put you off - just consult with a proper Lawyer before starting -- a small fee will save you maybe 100,000's of dollars in Court fees and penalties later.
