Ohhhh Ciara, I'm so very sorry to hear about your fall. That's the only thing about the cold weather that is really upsetting to me. I just today ordered a pair of these Kahtoola Microspikes. Maybe you should get yourself a pair of these (or something similar) so this doesn't happen to you ever again!

Hi sorry not being here lately but I fell on the snow/ice and have broke my right arm (two places) it hurts using my mouse and have to type with my left hand, one finger

Glad to hear you're on the mend but sorry for the need. I took a slip and fall just the other day on a rain soaked (just got over 16" of wet!) steep driveway. I was carrying several items and my keys. The keys punctured my palm, my elbow and left ass cheek took the force as well, I'm so lucky I didn't crack my head open. Happened so fast as I'm sure the ice took you for your ride. Heal fast and Happy Holidays again ! Cheers, Alan

You know that feeling you get when you start down a slope and it's marginal traction you begin to walk with careful precision making damn sure you don't slide ? That's exactly what I was doing but with hands loaded with overnight bags, briefcase and house keys in hand. One second I was up and the next nanosecond I was down. We've all been there but it scares the hell out of you ! Black and blue and two bleeding spots (palm and elbow) but I'm most thankful nothing broken and didn't pop my head off the newly finished driveway. Ego took the biggest bash but I was the only witness !
