The Roaming Folder in my Win 7 Ult. 64 bit machine has disappeared. Local and LocalLow are still there and I've checked to make certain that Invisible files and folders is set to show in folder options.

All my settings, preferences etc. are in place but the folder is invisible. I know it's there because when I backed up with SynBack it backs the folder up and it shows up on the external drive I've back it up to.

Not sure what is going on....anyone have an idea? :sarc:

Thanks

Did you look inside of it neighboring folders? I have found a few that way, when I unwittingly moved them with the mouse.

1) Where are you looking for it? The path is C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming.

2) To access all hidden folders, do the following:

1. Open "Computer", and click "Organize" -> "Folder and Search Options".
2. Click the "View" tab. Under "Hidden files and folders", click "Show hidden files and folders."
3. To display other hidden files, clear the "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" check box.

Not the problem

Yeah...I know how to make the invisible folders visible...my Local and LocalLow are there but the Roaming is invisible but still there...I find it when I want to access some templates and such....but it is invisible. And I have not moved it to any locale folders accidentally...it's in the AppData folder.

Did a search...you misunderstand. It's not missing...it's there in the AppData folder and located where it should be....it is invisible....and folders and files are set to be visible. What I need help with is not locating it but finding why Roaming should be invisible while Local and LocalLow are visible.

You said that the folder is still there so you can see it ....Try the property of that folder .. maybe there is a tick next to Hidden.
