Applaunch.exe - Application Error

Hey everyone, I am having an issue with my computer right now. When I boot it up, I get an error message reading " Applaunch.exe - Application Error" and then under it, it reads: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application. Okay, so I click OK. After I click it, and around 5-30 seconds it pops back up again.

It does this completely out of nowhere, and I don't know what in the world is causing to do this. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

What antivirus do you use? Made a full scan? Any software/hardware changes recently?

Perform a clean boot:

Make scans with the following:

-Kaspersky TDSSKiller

• Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

-ESET online scanner

• Free Online Virus Scanner | ESET

System file check:

It allows the user to scan for and restore corruptions in Windows system files.

  1. Click on the rb:
  2. Type CMD on Search
  3. Left click and Run as Administrator
  4. Type SFC /scannow
