I over tuned the front port once or twice and got a similar reaction. It's a very fine line between perfect response and bordering on painful. I wish these devices came with well written manuals as the devices don't seem to communicate much and just expect you to always know ?

Same here, buddy...The timing has to be just right (and that's not the easiest challenge in the game)
It's almost an art form and one point where life experience surely comes in handy
You're always supposed to know that's part of the universal auto- guilty clause.
