Apple Sues Polish Grocery Store Over A.pl Name

A.pl, which advertises straight-to-your-door delivery, goes by the full name A.PL Internet SA. While ".pl" is actually Poland's country-wide domain, Apple is arguing a trademark issue, demanding that the Polish Patent Office cancel the site's trademark. The main allegations, according to Telepolis, are the likeness of characters, and "the use of Apple's reputation," the site said.

they still have a lot of momentum, but it does seem like their losing their way.

I think it will be at least two years before it's obvious that Apple has a problem.

I'm actually thinking that RIM's Blackberry 10 system may start this, providing the rumors and hints that the multitasking ability will again redefine smartphones.

The adaptor doesn't work with the advanced features of docks, such as video out and ipod controls.

i hear they are suing asda/walmart for their use of rectangular bins with rounded corners. they are also suing for copyright infringement on the term 'apple' being used for the fruit of the malus domestica featured in some of these bins. if successful, they will also extend the suit other vendors bypassing the app store. apple have retained the best judges that money can buy. in proof, they have submitted photos of said bins which show multiple copies of their trademark logo blatently displayed inside:

they have also announced the new iBin 5, a longer version that holds 5% more apples fruit than the older iBin 4s and it also allows apples, er malus to be loaded twice as fast.

I don't want them destroyed, competition is good for consumers.but they aren't competing...they are trying to justify the flaw of putting out last year's features in this year's shiny new casing. A casing that smacks of the same damn tired....any way - keep the fight at retail and away from costly trials...because SAMSUNG is/was stomping a mud hole in Apple's sales
