Application Installation in Windows 7

What to do, if our applications have files that may change during the execution and resides in Program File.If we are Administrator there is no problem...?.With out setting the security policies is there any other way?.Where should we keep such files?

For files that need to change either use the users Roaming profile for files that need to persist like options. For temporary files (cache, etc) use the local profile.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local

For an example look at how Firefox does it.

Let me ask you,when we create an application in vista/windows 7/xp which all folders are generally required,even though it depends on the application's requirement.Generally which all folders will be created?...if we take adobe as example...it will have files in CommonFile,ProgramFiles,Local etc....
