Application keeps recreating Start Menu entry

I recently switched to Panda Free Antivirus as the previous product I had used started causing problems. thus far, Panda has been great - until the most recent update. With the most recent update, the program keeps recreating its entry in the Start menu, an entry I don't want.

Is there any way to prevent a program from creating a Start menu entry? If not, it's on to the next AV product...

The recent update was a major revision. Not sure whether this happens every time, it may.

I don't see why this is important, but I'm pretty sure you have a better chance of an authoritative answer in the Panda forums.
