Hey Guys,

I've got this problem when I add or remove a device that makes an application's volume drop. I notice it most when using my KVM switch (also noticed with iphone/usb hard drive). An interesting point I should add is if the volume is already low when I use the switch, the slider will slide up to the original position, then back down.

Before adding/removing a device:

This is especially annoying since once I've switched my mouse/keyboard to another computer, I can't change the volume slider anymore. Anyone know how to prevent my volumes from changing?

Using Win7 Home Premium x64
