Solved Application Will Not Open in Primary Monitor

Application (Adobe Reader) consistently opens in my external monitor, despite efforts to make it open in primary:
1. Move window to primary, close, re-open.
2. Shut-down Windows, disconnect ext. monitor at monitor, start Win.
3. Move window to primary, re-start Win.

Other aps. do not behave this way.

How can I make the ap. open in primary?

If I understand your question. This may help. Before shutting down go to single monitor and unplug the second screen from the computer at the computer.

I had similar issue before, but your process of moving it to primary monitor and closing it solved it. It was Adobe reader also, try it several times.

Here's the solution, received from Microsoft Answers Forum: application (adobe reader) opens in external monitor; how - Microsoft Answers. My mistake: I was maximizing window on external before moving.
