April 12: Will Microsoft Pink finally make its debut?

None of us knows for sure (yet), but it’s looking like next Monday, April 12, could be the debut of the long-awaited Microsoft Pink phones.

Microsoft has sent out invitations to members of the press for a mystery event on that date in San Francisco. Speculation is growing that this will be the Pink launch.

When I first read "pink" phone, I started wondering how a phone could be gay? After scanning the article, I'm still not sure what to think of it? Is it simply another project attempting to go head to head with the established mainstream cell phone systems, wearing a pink shell and MS badge, or is there something substantially different within it?
