Solved Arcania Gothic 4 How is game play

Hi all i am considering buying Acania Gothic 4 but have a few questions

#1 Do I need to have a hand held controler or is Keyboard and mouse ok also could i use a logitec game pad instead of buying a different one

#2 what games is it similar too like maybe the new castlevania or GOW ?
just wondering what kind of platform i will see because the package doesnt really explain much

# 3 is this playable online as well ?

New Question about DarkSiders

Anyone know if you could use a Logitec controller instead of a 360 because i have purchases DarkSiders instead of Gothic 4 because this is like the legend of zelda

Anyway i am wondering can i use the game with the Logitec controller well analog controller so i won't have to buy a 360 one it doesnt matter if i do i do but would rather save if you know what i mean

Arcania is more like a Oblivion type game I think. There is a DEMO of it through STEAM.

I would check it out if i were you before purchasing it. I tried the DEMO and didn't like it myself. The voice acting really through me off
But, there are many who really love it.
Not sure about controller support.


As far as the controller, it should work if the supports controllers.
I have a old Saitek controller that works with most games. But, the 360 controller works much better IMHO.

By that I mean, the old Saitek sometimes worked flawlessly, sometimes I needed to do alot of button mapping. On a very few games it wouldn't work well at all.
The only way to really know is try it out.
It may be better off than this old Saitek one

Ive had no issues with the 360 controller so far though.

Well wishmaster thanks for the input but i just picked up darksiders seems pretty darn interesting but i have a couple of downsides but who doesnt

but graphics wise and playability it works good

It seemed alright till I checked the demo out, as an above posts mentioned the voice acting is off a lot of the times. :huh: Kind of disappointing to see a lot indie/small company games plan everything out so well but gimp on the voice. How hard can it be to align them correctly? I'd rather deal with a delay release date for better quality then deal with something like that.
