Specs at the bottom if needed.

I am investigating an event logged by the router from a single client during a specific time period. It's just a triage exercise - but I'd like to know how I can see everything that was talking to the router during that period - timestamp thing. I would appreciate any and all suggestions of where or how, that could be done - in my shoes, how would you go about it?

SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). No other way around it unless you have firewall logs for a hardware based firewall like pfSense, Untangle, etc.

If you don't already use SNMP and some some of software to read the SNMP traffic, the data is gone, sans the RAM in the router...

Read the following: Simple Network Management Protocol - Wikipedia

And it looks like there is an RFC (Request For Comments) on some other type of Cisco implementation for a new "SNMP". Chances are it'll have one CVE after another.. LOL
