I have been offered a couple of Philips computers without hard drives in for 30 quid altogether:
They are:
LS 1500
Intel Pentium 4 Processor 650 (3.4GHz, 2MB,FSB800) , 2048MB DDR, 16X DVD+- R/RW DL, ATI RADEON X700 256MB, TV Tuner, Built in IR Receiver
LS100099
Intel Pentium 4 Processor 540 (3.2GHz, 1MB,FSB800), 512MB DDR, 16X DVDRW Multi (Doulbe Layer), ATI RADEON X300SE 128MB/WLAN
Just as a little project is this ok plus 20 quids worth of hard drive which I will buy later of Ebay. Can the first one run Windows Seven and can the second with more RAM. If not, they would be fine with XP right? I know they are old but I enjoy sorting as long as I can sort them!
