What's wrong with resurrecting dead threads? I never understood the problem people had with that. I mean, if it's on topic then I would say: by all means, go ahead.. @_@

If you resurrect a year old thread chances are the fixes available have been updated or improved.

Easier when posters start a new thread with their specs filled in with a description of their problem.

"Mine does the same thing" is not telling us much of anything.
Usually by the time they actually describe their problem it is only a similar problem not the same.

Please start a new thread, state the problem and fill in your specs.

Not only that, but generally new threads attract more attention. If I happen to be looking through the list (must admit I don't often, but its been known) and see a thread with 30+ replies, I will assume another member is working it and 90% of the time ignore it.

If however, I see a new thread with no replies, I will take a look straight away.
