Army Interview Tomorrow Morning!

Hey there!,
Well basically, i was just wondering if theres any advice/ tips that anyone can give to me for my interview tomorrow for the army? I've only had one interview before(The joys of being a young one) so any input would be much appreciated, cheers.

tell them you are a conscientious objector and pretend to be half deaf, that should swing it.

Tell them you like to be beasted all the time, stand endless inspections, serve in some war which no-one on civvie street cares about anyway, and look forward to retiring at 35 with no other qualifications under your belt.

*serious help needed* xD nah im going in to do logistics on the boats, (Royal Logistics Corps) where i will gain a long list of useful qualifications, only going to better myself and set myself up for the future.

Answer all question honestly and precise.
No military is looking for a smartass.
Do your best to be your best. You can learn more in a month in the military than attending grad school for a year. The schooling you get in the military will be fast and ferious and you will have to apply yourself beyond levels you ever thought you could. No fear millions of other have done it even before you were born.
I was a proud member of the U.S. Navy Submarine Force.
If some how I went back in time I would gladly do my time in the Navy all over again.

I had an uncle (RIP) that joined the Navy during WWII. He spent four years there then turned around and joined the Marines. He spent his time working on radios then made it a career with civil service. After retiring, he worked at several radio broadcasting stations maintaining the transmitters. Military service made it all possible. My dad went through a similar path with aircraft.

Thanks for the info lads, Sorry to hear carwiz, i didnt do myself any favours at school, pretty much was a waste of time, the army are the only place that i will be able to get good solid qualifications as everywhere outside the army want you to have good qualifications just for them to even look at you. thanks again

As a 10 year Army veteran I say "welcome to the ranks"! Just be yourself, present your case as lucidly as possible and you should be o.k.. Clean pressed clothes, etc. My time in the Army was some of the best years of my life and taught me many things. About myself and about people in general. I still use some of the discipline's I learned in the military, made me a better person to be and to be around. Imho of course. Remember though, you're going to meet some real buttheads there. You have to respect the rank, not the person wearing it. If possible, not sure how it works in the United Kingdom, but get some overseas time in. Travel will broaden your horizon like few if anything else. Make them guarantee it in writing. ANYTHING you are promised, your military occupational specialty, travel etc. get it in writing. I 1957 when they wanted to draft me, I was limping. It worked because they could not prove the opposite. They never came back to call me. I still have an army pass without ever having served. Best of all worlds.

Because of my age i go to harrogate down in england for 29 weeks then i go off to do my training with the royal logistics corps as well as getting some additional training from the navy, as i will be working on vessels, im assuming at some point i will be overseas, here is the job im going for https://www.army.mod.uk/rolefinder/role/97/logistic-boat-crewman
