Hi guys. I bought a new Laptop from SAGER. Pretty decent one. Sager NP9390/Clevo P375SM

From withing 1 hour of using the new laptop. BSOD... YAY!! my favourite. I've been trying all sorts of things to solve the issues. Memtest, hard drive checks. Driver updates, reinstalling windows.

I've got no clue on how to solve this. It's been going on for months. I need a stable laptop, as i'm a 3D designer. Well... we all want a stable laptop :D.

So here are my logs if you guys need anything more. Please ask. Sager gave up and told me to just send the laptop for repairs, but it's $250 shipping.

Hi Mushroom :) .

All of the bug check are of a network related nature, be it afd.sys / Ak27x64.sys / Rt64Win7.sys
and two other (DV enabled) dumps which catch Avast with his hand in the cookie jar as well.

If you still have Driver Verifier enabled, please disable it - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html.

The strange thing is that the drivers are not terribly outdated.
Please ensure latest versions:

Code:
lmvm Rt64win7

    Loaded symbol image file: Rt64win7.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Rt64win7.sys

Killer™ e2200, Wireless-N 1102, 1103 and 1202 | 64Bit (Version # 1.0.36.1278)

Please remove Avast using this uninstall utility by following the instructions.

This driver is a known BSOD cause:
Code:
lmvm wdcsam64

fffff880`0be8c000 fffff880`0be8f880 wdcsam64 (deferred)

    Image name: wdcsam64.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR=Red][U]Wed Apr 16 11:39:08 2008[/U][/COLOR]
Please ensure updated firmwares of both SSD's!

Please post a screenshot of the Disk Management utility.

Thanks for the feedback and the added info :) .
It doesn't appears as though you have a RAID setup but I still suspect you do.
Boot into the BIOS and verify the setting for the SATA MODE (or something very similar) option.
Do you know whether you are running RAID or not? this is important.

Did you manage to complete something from the suggestions?

I've updated those drivers and firmware for my Crucial SSD. Still getting BSOD's.

So what i might do. Is a clean install with fresh drivers, up to date etc. See how that goes. If the problem continues i'll require your help.

No i'm not using RAID. I'm set to AHCI or what ever it's called.

Thanks for the files :) .
From what I can see the problematic driver, wdcsam64.sys, is not present which is good!.
But the MSINFO32 file is empty, please try again.

Please upload the MSINFO32 file:

:orb:Start → Run → type MSINFO32 then hit Enter.
In MSINFO32 go to, File → Save → name it your user-name.
Once the file is saved right click it and choose Send toCompressed (zipped) folder.

Attach the file in your next post.

Have you had any issues so for?

RE posting SF tool logs again. Could you please look over again. Thanks a lot.

This should solve the issue. Hope it's not ram related.

Thanks for the update :) .

The last three bug checks are quite similar to the first, and all seem to have a driver misbehaving
so we need to turn to Driver verifier to hopefully help in uncovering the culprit(s).

Follow this post to enable Driver Verifier:

Also the MSinfo32 file is empty again,
Please confirm you have these services running and active:
Security Center, IP Helper, Windows Management Instrumentation.
:orb:> Services.msc > hit enter.

Then follow,
Please upload the MSINFO32 file:

:orb:Start → Run → type MSINFO32 then hit Enter.
In MSINFO32 go to, File → Save → name it your user-name.
Once the file is saved right click it and choose Send toCompressed (zipped) folder.

Attach the file in your next post.

Hi thanks for the update :) ,
the new dumps aren't in the file uploaded please manually check the minidump folder.
Code:
C:\Windows\minidump
If dump files are present in that folder copy them to the Desktop, zip and upload in your next post.

   Note
:ar:Before proceeding with the installation of the new driver DISBALE DRIVER VERIFIER.
Follow this post to disable Driver Verifier:

After a couple of complete restarts to the PC enable it again.
Follow this post to enable Driver Verifier:

Good job on catching what the the code and accused driver were :) .
nvlddmkm.sys is an nVidia driver for that reason please try the latest WHQL
driver, installation in the manner detailed in the quote below.

Install the 314.22 WHQL only.

  • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
    • 3D Vision Control Driver
    • 3D Vision Driver
    • Graphics Driver
    • HD Audio Driver
    • PhysX
    • nvidia Update
(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
  • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
  • Boot normally now. Download. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

Let us know how it went.

Ok. Ran into a bit of an error. I did everything you said with the Nvidia driver thingy.

turns out if I do anything with the Nvidia Geforce experience (opening the program). Will result in a BSOD. the once I described before.

So ignore my old DUMPS.. Please check these ones out.

Yep Driver Verifier doesn't like nvlddmkm.sys trying to corrupt the system, especially using
nvspcaps64.exe which is GeForce Experience.

:ar:In your next post, follow the posting instructions instead of posting only the dumps.

Did you follow the settings detailed in the linked post completely?
Please verify the drivers selected for DV to stress.
Run an elevated command prompt and type in verifier /query.
:orb:Start Menu> CMD - right click and Run as administrator.
Type verifier /query hit Enter and post a screenshot of the window.
Disable DV and uninstall the nVidia drivers.
Use the integrated graphics then enable DV the same manner as before, keep it for a couple
of days and post back with any new dumps or reporting a stable system.

Hi :) .

:ar: Please disable DV now. - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Driver Verifier consistently found nvlddmkm.sys performing illegal calls which comes down to a driver
issues which needs to get patched with the next update from nVidia, since you're using the latest
(at the time of typing this) WHQL release there's not much you can about that
at the moment unfortunately :\ .
Code:
DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the
administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.
If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
be among the most commonly seen crashes.

A new offender that DV found was your Razer Naga try not to use it for the coming days and see how things are going.
On top of that please update your USB host controller.

:ar: Please clean your start up, - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html

Please test your RAM:
:ar: Testing the RAM:

Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+:

   Tip

  • :info: Pay close attention to part 3 of the tutorial "If you have errors"
  • :tip: Test the RAM with Memtest86+ for at least 7-10 passes. It may take up to 22 passes to find problems. Make sure to run it once after the system has been on for a few hours and is warm, and then also run it again when the system has been off for a few hours and is cold.
:ar: When done with the testing procedure take a picture and upload it here.

Let us know :) .
