ASIO newbie crashes system BSOD

Since getting my new notebook I have been trying to load a USB Audio Interface. Originally the drivers were imported from XP via a migration software. I have attempted to uninstall those drivers and install the 64-bit drivers. The apps will load, when I plug the unit in it is recognized. When I try to use the interface with the associated apps it goes BSOD. I have deleted registry entries, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, etc to no avail. This includes attempts to install drivers/software and run all with admin rights.

These were caused by several factors. One of which is stdriver64.sys. I could find no reference to this in google and wonder if you need it or if it might be a virus.

I would
Download memtestx86 and run for at least 5 passes
Run a system file check (sfc /scannow)

If you are over clocking stop
If you are running a raid update its driver.

Hi Ken,

Yeah. I please ignorance in all of this. Which version of Memtest should I install, where is a link for me to read how to run it, etc.

As for the stdriver64.sys, the name of the audio interface is Stealth Pedal and I was attempting to load the 64-bit version of the drivers.

Thanks in advance for all your help. I worked about 60 hours the week this all started going south, and my youngest son lets me get about 3 hours sleep in between his awake times right now (he was diagnosed autistic).
