Ask About These 3 Antivirus

Guys, i want ask ... i have 2 Notebook ...

1st one install Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 Licensed
2nd one install Avast! Trial 30 Days and Malwarebyte Free

When i scan my game at 2nd Notebook , i found that 1 file / folder setup.exe Avast! Full Scan got a Spyware...
then i try with Malwarebyte Full Scan , it's said not detected any malicious threats ...

then i try Full scan using Kaspersky my 1st notebook which have same game too, but no threats too...

Conclusion :
1. Full Scan with Avast! Trial 30 Days Detected (Setup.exe Have Spyware)
2. Full Scan with Malwarebyte Free Not detected any malicious threats
3. Full Scan with Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 Licensed not detected any threats / Virus too

so which should i trust ?

It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for a trail version to give you a false sense of finding a corrupt or malicious file it found,
Kind of a Sells pitch.
That's why Trail versions are not worth messing with,

Whenever I see a suspicious or questionable file I upload it to VirusTotal for scanning.
This will scan it with 40+ scanners.
If only one finds it has malware and 40+ find it clean, maybe a false-positive for that one scanner...
As you have 2 different PCs, I would upload the file from each PC to see if the results are the same...

Maybe the file on PC1 is not the same as the file on PC2...
If you download from torrents, it could be more likely to have a different setup.exe file on PC1 than on PC2...
No telling where the setup file really got downloaded from.

If you think it's a false-positive for Avast, they have a viruses and worms forum where you can ask for help.

I don't think it's a sales pitch but more due to the fact all 3 use different scanning engines and data bases. It's unlikely any 3 random AV will catch the same virus, malware, worm, Trojan, root kit, etc.
MBAM isn't an anti-virus and has a smaller set of detections.

i think the file it's same cause i copy from my PC 1 to PC 2 ... PC 1 KIS 2013 didn't detect any malicious threats such spyware like Avast detected ...

I'm saying if you want Avast "buy Avast" do not use the 30 trial, they are trying to sell you some thing,
Although it's better to use the same a-v on both machines.

I use a trial version before buying a program so I can see if I really want it before spending money.
I wouldn't buy a car without at least test driving it first...

Also, I use different AV programs on different systems.
If one AV has an issue that can cause a system to be un-bootable, I still have other systems I can use until I can fix the problem.
I've seen where even a malware definition file update can render a system unusable.
Unfortunately it happens, fortunately not very often.

I wouldn't necessarily put an Antivirus in the same category as buying a car,
You can always get a Refund from the purchase of an Antivirus besides Avast has some good reviews as well as Kaspersky does,
Seems as user friendly goes it would be better to only have to deal with one Antivirus company instead of two,
Plus being familiar with settings....
I'm just not a fan of 30 day trials for security suites.
Most are difficult enough to fully get rid of for an average user.

what do you guys think ? and if spyware like that can infected to flashdisk and go to another pc if we plugin the flashdisk?

Not sure if they're related to the other scanners findings or not ?
