<ASK> backup FEBE in Firefox 10.0.2 Restore FEBE on Waterfox 10.0.2

Dear everyone...

Is anyone using FEBE...?

firefox doesn't give 64bit-native option. However, people make their own innovations, 1 of them is Waterfox

the 64 bit firefox that indonesians are using.

I'd like to ask... have you had any experience of using waterfox...?

Also... what will happen if I backup in firefox 10.0.2 FEBE, then restore it on Waterfox 10.0.2...?

Does it run smoothly?

thank you everyone....

have a nice dayyyy

I use Waterfox and have had no problems, and it runs great for me.

I installed it and it picked up all my Firefox settings, so no configuration needed by me to duplicate Firefox settings.

I installed along side Firefox without any problems, so I have Waterfox and Firefox on my x64 systems.

I don't use FEBE.

I use FEBE with Firefox but don't have Waterfox.

It looks as if Waterfox and Firefox share Profiles.

Be extremely careful when you uninstall Waterfox or it will erase all your Firefox profiles (which it borrowed from Firefox by default). It should say clearly that WF does NOT create any profile for its own but continues to use your FF one(s). When you uninstall Waterfox make sure you tell it to leave the "Settings" and NOT uninstall these or ALL your FF profiles are *poof*

I'm going to give Waterfox a try. :)

Edit:
Yep, from their site
Waterfox uses the same profile that Firefox does. If you uninstall Waterfox make sure you don't have the remove personal data box ticked!
WF seems about the same but I've only been using it 5 minutes.

You can only use FF or WF at one time because they share the same Profile.

Everything looks the same in WF too, because they use the same Profile.

The only difference is in the Task Manager and WF is installed in Programs Files.
