Solved Ask for credentials everytime i log in to device

I have a WDTV Stream Media Player with 2 USB connected to it. I move files move my laptop to there via wireless network so in NETWORK, the device icon shows up and the + symbol to expand the letters or the USB thumb drives. The problem is that it ask to supply the credentials every time i reboot or shut down the laptop even after marking REMEMBER MY CREDENTIALS. The strange thing is the message Logon failure before typing any credentials.

Did you create identical User Names and passwords on the WD device and your computer?

What if you didn't create any User Names and Passwords from your WD device and shared if off publicly (not private)?

That way worked, but i'm worry about people around connecting to it freely.

We were just experimenting if it would work this way.....

I disabled the password in the WDTV.

Alright, as long as it works for you and there aren't sensitive files for everyone to see and tamper. You may always password-protect your WD device if you have to.
