So like most games, I have black strips running down the sides. The main game I play is Maplestory and it's annoying. My aspect ratio 16:9 with screen res of 1366x768. I searched tons of forums for answers, but never could find anything. I run ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics card and I believe W7 64bit. It's an Acer Aspire 5532 laptop.

If your game can run in a 16:9 ratio, it'll be a setting you can choose.

Some games you can force it (like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., the only example I can think of) but those are few and far between.

Also wouldn't hurt to check to see if there is an updated version of your graphics driver.

Also check the game setting themselves for some options (video) like; full screen, run in window, run in window with no boarder. Play with each one and see what happens.

Here is the link to your GPU driver as jelyman suggested for updating your driver. The link is for the 64 bit driver..

ATI Catalyst

I can't choose any other setting that 1280x768 and 800x600. And if there's some file or something I can change to allow that please let me know

I really just want to run it in full screen. Window mode annoys me because I just like seeing a game when I play it o.o

Also what was the link for exactly, I downloaded and installed it but just curious

An update to your graphics drivers (if you needed it).

It looks like if your game isn't giving you that option then there's not much you can do. When it comes to Nexon games, especially, they do not like people tinkering with their games. If you did edit a file or two in the game to force those resolutions, it would replace it anyways. Their launchers check for modified files to prohibit modding, etc.

I found out how, I had to lower my resolution to 800x600, open ATI CCC.
Go to Desktop and Displays, Click on the triangle on the small monitor not the big one.
Choose configure, then choose full screen.
It streches and it looks better to me.

Me neither. If a game can't do it, then it can't do it. Move on with life. I guess you get what you get with free online games.
