i have an asus engtx560 dcII top/2di/1gb gddr5 gpu... it says its factory overclocked to 925mhz... is there any way to oc it again to achive better performence...? step by step instruction would be great....

Great card bud, I know people who have this card an run's most new games on high/max settings, why do you want too over clock it?? Over clocking requires more power, higher temps, personally I wouldn't bother mate.

You can but I don't think it's going to do much,that card runs pretty much anything maxed or near to max settings with no problems and I know this because the equivalent to that card is the 6870 which I have at stock settings and it max most of my games with no problems what so ever over 60fps.Anyways if you really want to clock it more you can use MSI Afterburner and clock it higher with that.Anyways for overclocking you got to take it in baby steps and test your clocks.If your unsure or not confident enough in overclocking due to lack of experience which in no way do I mean to offended so don't take it the wrong way.Then I would say not to overclock your card.Anyways for a guide to use MSI burner I suggest looking at this article which gives you a good brief discussion in how to use msi after burner to overclock your video card.Overclocking with MSI Afterburner :: Bjorn3D.com Also another software you could use is Riva Tuner

Its set to max so overclocking will give other problems like freeze or hang.So drop that overclocking idea.But you can buy another 560 ti card and SLI bridge.

okey but some high end games like mass effect 3 or resident evil orc freezes for a moment few times while playing.... why is dat happening??? u can see my system config in my pf... if theres anything wrong, plz tell me... um a dumb with hardware configs....

Ok that game you mentioned Resident evil Operation raccon city will do that regardless
I am using dual gpu's 6870's Oc'ed and that game has lots of bad porting even the sound drops in intense gun battles so i doubt your card is the issue it may very well be the game

So i would take up what others have told you that card is pretty much in the league with the bigger boys so i would hold off on OC'ing cause if it is factory OC'ed they probally left it to that range for a reason not every card will oc the same and according to your hardware as well

Best thing to do is look up the games you have and see if others have come around with a fix

hmm... me3 does hav the same problem... one more question... does asus maximus III gene supports sata III 6gbps hdd??? i cant find the answer any where... not even in the user manual... i wanna get a wd caviar blue but not sure if its compatible with my mb... current hdd is samsung 1000gb sata II... using win 7 ultimate sp1 x64... data transfer rate is too slow for me...

If your board is sata II it won't make any difference using a sata III drive they are backwards compadble but you probally won't see anything better then what you got unless you get a SSD involed in that whole affair of hardware

tnx a lot... some stupid told me to use sata III minimum 16mb to 64mb cache hdd to get faster data transfer in win7 x64

yeah if it was sata III vs II it would be a increase but if you have been running sata II for a while chances are it's sata II check out SSD's for faster boot times and apps

They are pretty cheap a decent one will cost about the same as a normal HHD and the speed will be atleast a 50% increase

you can use this for the OS and some games and the other drive you already have a as back up you do not have to spend that much to have a piece of the pie my friend

the main problem is um using twinmos 2x4=8gb ddr3 on my maximus III gene mb... while playing mass effect 3, my pc suddenly gets low on ram and crashes if i dnt close dat game instantly... i dnt keep any other programs open except a few asus n other system utilities... but they dnt uses more than total 20% of ram with the whole system running..... i cant find any solution of it... only happens with dat god damn game... got any solution anyone...???
