Asus P5Q-E Motherboard USB 2.0 Pin Headers ?

Hi Guys, Ive an old ASUS P5Q-E Motherboard and i'm unsure about which USB pin header to use for connecting my cases Front panel to and the additional USB ports in a 5 !/2" bay that ive purchased. The manual deals with this topic on page 2-31 of the manual or page 57 of the site and can be found here :-

My problem is that i don't know what the differences are between 10-1 pin USB 78, USB 910 and USB112_WFG are !

If someone can explain these to me I would be very grateful. Thanks.

How many ports does your Front panel has?
How many ports does your additional USB on the 5 1/2 bay has?

The Front Panel has 2 USB Sockets at the bottom of the case behind a small door which is inconvenient and awkward to access so the 5 1/2" drive panel was added with an additional 3 USB sockets. This is not currently connected though !

They all do the same thing. Connect it to whichever is most convenient.

Every male socket on the MB has two ports.
Use USB 9&10 and 7&8 to the 5 1/2" drive panel (2+1 USB sockets) and USB 11&12 to the front case.

The female socket on the cable only has 7 holes. Take care to mach them to the male on the MB.
