This problem is driving me insane.

Asus Sabertooth x58 board
i7 960 3.20ghz
3x 4gb Corsair Vengence 1600mhz

Tried in triple channel mode and bios posts 4gb, fit Ram in slot A1,A2 + B1 bios posts 8gb, tried changing settings in Ai Tweaker and makes no difference. Any help to save my sanity would be much appreciated

Have you tested each RAM stick individually to see if you can boot from it? Maybe you have a bad stick.

Much better since I got fiber, but still way overpriced.

Try one module in each memory slot and see what happens. I had a (new) ASRock Z77 motherboard and it had a bad memory slot (confirmed by ASRock Tech). It obviously was returned as defective.

A BIOS (CMOS) Reset may help if each slot tests good.
