I installed W7 64 Ultimate 2 years ago.It came with IE11.Since then
i received security updates for IE 11,never had failed update or any
other problem.
I never use IE,my browsers are portable FF,Slimjet and Chrome which
i run Sandboxied. The current updates pushed out by Microsoft (Patch Tuesday) have
broken Chrome and Slimjet when using SBIE (It may also have broken the flash plug-in
for FF).
The update in question is KB3088195, a Windows Kernel update.I uninstalled update
rebooted and all was fine again. When it showed again i hid it.
After some time popped notification for 3 new updates: Cumulative Security update
for IE 8,IE 10 and security update from May which shows as installed in history.
Now the really weird part. When i opened IE it was IE 8.
WEIRD or WTF , how that happened?
