Yes, I can vouche that it does work in 7 without ill effects.

It definitely works with Windows 7. The only thing you don't want to 'tick' is "Prefetch". It's grayed out in Vista, but not in Win 7.

I don't uncheck Prefetch and have not had a problem yet.
