ATI 2900XT driver BSOD

hello to all ! I have a big problem... I have the 2900xt ATI sapphire and currently using the windows 7 7600build x86 (32bit)... The problem is when i install the most recent drivers on their site i get a blue screen of death at the point where the dispaly driver is installing... please any solution ?

Please list your system specs. Was this a clean install or an upgrade?

Please upload the minidump file from the BSOD as well.

try installing the drivers u got with ur graphics card. If it doesnt installs then change the compatibility mode of the setup file(.exe) to xp sp2 or 3 n then try again.

Could you go into c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it for us to look at

ok so i gone to the minidump and ziped the late est file from todays last BSOD... btw forgot to mention: just today i got the 2900xt ... i have a 8600gt nvidia and it was working fine and when i got the 2900xt from a friend just the card with no accesories and tried to install the display driver my monitor goes blank with some artefacts then blue screen with artefacts as well... when i make a system restore i can do anything without a problems but cannot benchmark or play any game...

My sistem specifications:

Pentium dual core e2220 2,4ghz overclocked to 3333mhz
3x 1GB corsair dominator 1066mhz with 5-5-5-15

ok .. incomming a new ziped .dmp / i will upload in ~30 minutes a video with what i done to install the driver and what really happens ! i will have 2x links with rapid share it will be archived with winrar in a .rar... i use VLC player and then the Don't Repair option and it starts to play... please take your time to help me :(

Did you uninstall your nvdia drivers and everything else nvidia related before installing the ati drivers?

that was the 1st thing i done when windows started ! completly uninstalled all drivers then i used Windows 7 Manager to clean any trace left... after these steps i started to download the ati drives...

I would recommend backing up you data, formatting and performing a clean install..

I noticed you're overclocking.. First thing. Reset your BIOS back to default.

You also did not mention what PSU you're using.

Also. Are all your drivers up to date?

my MB is gigabyte... so i get my drivers directly from their site ! :)
