ati 5750 Question

hi I'm new to this forum and i hear its the best around,i have a problem that just started . when i start my pc the fan on the video card pulses about 5 or six times on startup,i"ve updated the bios and i have all the latest updates and drivers. has anyone even heard of this.or better yet does anyone have a solution. thanks in advance for any help.

Might be a BIOS problem on the card.

I know mine starts high then drops, but I have not heard of pulsing.

not fast enough
Both of my 480s do it.. doesn't seem to harm anything.. after windows loads it stops.. if it continues though after windows has loaded it could be a bios problem...

i run a hd5770 and when you power up it is loud then settles to a quiet speed i just think that is how it work when you get it running
but pulsing sounds like something might be defective on that card if iwere you i would return and see if the need card does the same thing

thanks for the quick reply, your right i don't think it hurts anything,it usually only pulses 5 or 6 times ,then settles down. i just thought there might be a quick fix. thanks again
