Use device manager to install the driver.

Right click standard vga, browse, let me pick, have disk, browse. Now find the C7 or CL .inf that was extracted and double click on it. Let it install.

Reboot if necessary. Then run setup.exe to get CCC installed.

It's good to have the latest bios installed for your motherboard and keep your chipset drivers updated as well.

Make sure you have the 6 pin power connector attached to the card internally, although I seriously doubt you'd post without it.

If you need further assistance, type system information into start menu search box. In screen that opens, hit ctrl+s. Rar the saved file and attach to a post. I'll have a glance over the aspects of the machine to see if I could detect anything causing an issue.

Check your Windows logs for anythign suspicious or related.

It's probably an issue with the Windows install and software environment. Not card problem.

Ya, I dunno. It's something to do with your system "health"...meaning software environment.

If you can't get it installed, ATI Tray Tools is an excellent alternative. If you look on Guru3d.com, I think there's some special stuff for 5xxx cards too.

Try using jv16 PowerTools to clean your registry. Known to help these things along by me, personally. Great app.

Glad you have your driver installed. :D

Well I still can not install the drivers with the software and it seems like the performance is crappy. I think I had a better frame rate with my old 7800GT, I knew I shouldn't have crossed over to ATI, I figured they couldnt be worse then Nvidia, but I was wont.

This is crappy.

The CCC that you can't get installed has no bearing on driver performance. Your driver is installed well based upon your screenshot. You should update your chipset drivers if they aren't latest.

The 5770 is an excellent card. With my 3850 AGP, I get 7.0 for both video scores in WEI.
