Ati radeon 5770

Just upgraded my pc from a 400w psu to a 750w, and from a 9500gt to a ATI 5770. Now I'm getting an error "NTLDR is missing, CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart. I've checked and checked to make sure all the cables from the PSU are int he right place but I cant find anything. And the error "NTLDR" is hard drive related, which is confusing as i haven't touched my hard drives :/

I tried putting the 9500gt back in and get the same problem... Any solutions would be appreciated... thx.

Check your bios. Make sure that your hard drive is set as the first boot drive. Unplug any USB drives and remove any CDs or DVDs.

Yes. Check your BIOS. Make sure it is set to boot from your Windows 7 Hard drive first. Then check your cables. As you have just changed PSU's, make sure your Hard drive's molex power cable is attached properly and giving your hard drive power. Also check your hard drivers IDE/SATA cables. The file NTLDR isn't part of Windows7, that is why we know that your PC isn't trying to boot from your Hard drive. So either your Hard drive isn't getting any power, it's IDE/SATA cable isn't attached properly or your PC is looking to boot from another hard drive (if you have 2), CD or Flash drive.

Since you say you just upgraded your power supply, the first thing you need to do is check that all the cables are properly connected and seated.

BTW, you should be able to get into the BIOS and see if the hard drive is even showing up, if not, chances are its power connected. Double check everything again.
