Ati Radeon 9600 code 43

Hello,
I have a problem with my graphic card.
In devicemanager i have displayer Radeon 9600 tx (microsoft corporation - WDDM) but on the symbol is a yellow sign with a exlamation mark in it. Rightclick+properties tell me:
"Dieses Gerät wurde angehalten, weil es Fehler gemeldet hat. (Code 43)"

Furthermore it seems i have no advanced graphics. e.g. i cant change display resolution.

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

One of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner.

If you have already run the Troubleshooting Wizard, you might want to check the hardware documentation for more information about diagnosing the problem.

Did you run the 'trouble shooting wizard'?

yes, leads me to update the driver, but it says it has already the newest version. I also downloaded&installed the drivers from the ati page (win7 32 bit version-radeon-9600)

Edit: "trouble shooting wizard" says

and from there the properties windows pops up, from where i updated the drivers for the very first.

(im trieng to translate the infoboxes as good as possible, most likely in the original english versions are other terms)
