Solved ATI Radeon HD 5750 crashing help

My 6950 get to the same temperature. I thought it was over heating too, but it turns out you don't need to worry so much with GPU's.
Those 6990's get to 80°C+ :shock:

well his thing was on top of temps it would artifact i think that is the main thing here

I assume his parents won't go through that since there not useing any demanding applications like the previous user

I suggest you get a 6950. As I mentioned, I have one and it's absolutely great
If you get the 2GB models you can flash them to a 6970. I will flash mine sometime.
Check this for a how-to if your going to get one (People haven't had success with the package, I suggest following the instructions)
