i've got the following problem:

when i try to connect via RDP to my thinkpad T42 i get a 0x50 STOP bluescreen (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGES_AREA)

my graphicscard is a mobility radeon 7500. first i tried the omega 3.8.442 driver and now this one here:

Mobilty Radeon 7500 Vista Driver | (final version ... DNA-ATi 4.5.6.1-32x)

but it didn't solve my problem. BSOD still occurs. but it only occurs when my T42 is connected to my 19" samsung TFT (-> operating in "dual screen"). when i use my T42 without external TFT the RDP access works fine without any BSODs.

any suggestions what i could try?!

All these dumps caused by the same process Usual causes: Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS

I would download memtestx86 and run for 5 passes
do a system file check
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>SFC /SCANNOW)

If you are over clocking stop

Since your build number is not the same as MS we dont have symbols for it

You need to update those drivers especially the video drivers that are over two years old

hi zigzag3143,

first thank you for your reply. my RAM should not be defect -> i ran memtest86+ about 4 rounds and 8-10 hours with no errors/problems. then i checked the harddisk with hdtune (health status ok and the error scan showed no defect blocks).

i don't overclock - it's a business notebook and i'm no gamer!

what is wrong with my build number? how can i check it? i checked it with sis.exe and it seems to be 6.1.7600.16385 which is the final release of win7, or am i wrong?

can you tell me which program you are using to analyze these dumpfiles?

i updated my display drivers with these "DNA final drivers" (Mobilty Radeon 7500 Vista Driver |) but the RDP-access still brings the BSOD ...

the system file check results: no integrity problems (sorry, i got the german version)

thanks for your help!
