Hi
a friend of mine has a new Fujitsu Amilo LI3910 laptop. the only problem he has with it, is that his mic is very very low. i can hardly hear him when he is using it. as he told me, he has an internal and external microphones. the internal one shows 3 bars of volume and he can't make it any higher. the external one is full but the volume is still very low.
He changed OS from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Professional.
He thinks that it's somehow connected to his audio drive. However, we do not know what kind of audio card he has, since all it says on the manufacturers site is "Up to 7.1 high-definition audio via S/PDIF"

Can any one help with audio drive for that laptop, please? any other help with solving this problem would be highly appreciated.

This forum helped us once, i hope it will do it again. Thanks.

p.s in case it's needed, this is the info about his laptop http://uk.ts.fujitsu.com/home/products/notebooks/amilo_li_3910.html

He can go to device manager>right click on audio device>properties>details tab>drop sownmenu>hardware id. copy and paste the id string. We can tell the device by the string. Fabe

ок, he solved the problem. he tried to use what ever you said in order to find his audio card info and he found how to adjust it. LOL. it took him 3 weeks and your instructions to do so.
so, the problem is solved, no need in audio drive any more. thanks for help.
