Audio drivers for Skylake chipset (notebook)

Hi, I'd like to ask you for help.

I have a notebook Acer Aspire V15 Nitro BE II (VN7-572G-54U4), which has Skylake chipset and comes originaly with preinstalled W10. Due to issues with wi-fi and my general dislike for W10, I installed W7. Even though Acer only provides drivers for W10, I managed to find and install all neccesary drivers, except for audio drivers. No matter what drivers I instal (from acer, realtek webpage, intel), the sound device won't even be recognized (error code 28).

After a lot of googling I found a guy who has the same problem and is a lot more knowledgable than me (link to his forum post), and according to him it seems the issue is that there aren't working W7 audio drivers for Skylake chipset. I also found that someone else had the same issue with a HP notebook (also with skylake chispet) (link), and he solved it by disabling "Intel Smart Audio" in BIOS. However, there is no such option in my BIOS, not even with unlocked advanced settings. These are my only clues.

So I'd like to ask you if someone has an idea how to solve this? Thank you.

Using HW Info
PART A:
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts are doing see my pic. In my pic the section (Nuvoton) with VBATT as a dead give away you are in the section for the rail voltages. There are other section titles and one that pops up often is ITE (sometimes the usual one for Gigabyte boards)
Now the voltage on the different rails have to be within 5% =+/- of what is required or the machine will not work properly if at all.
Limits +/-
12v = 11.4 – 12.6v
5v = 4.74 – 5.25v
3.3v = 3.135 – 3.465v
The Power good signal voltage at pin 8 on the 24 pin plug (grey cable) should be the same as the 5v rail reading/s

The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel
FOR OTHER COMPONENTS
PART B:
Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in and then click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. See pic for example.

You need Vista/Windows 7 audio drivers. Win 10, Win 8.1 and Win XP drivers are not compatible.

Considering much of the new Windows 10 designed hardware is not backward compatible, you may have to bite the bullet and reinstall Windows 10. I have a dual boot Windows 7/Windows 10 but have accepted Win 10 and only keep Win 7 as I have a couple of clients still using it. I have a recording studio and all my hardware and software is both Win 7 and Win 10 compatible.

The only option I see is to use a USB connected "sound card" that is Win 7 compatible but you will have to either use a headset or external speakers with that setup.

I'm sorry, but I'm quite confused by your explanation, didn't you forget to include the picture you mention? Either way, here I uploaded picture of all information from HWiNFO showing voltage so you can see for yourself what you wanted to know.

Yes mate the second pic is what I was after PART A: deals with PSU stuff thats why I specified use PART B:

Now it is a Realtek as you can see but it will take some hunting down though but I will have a look.

Having said this Fireberd our on board audio guru has probably hit the nail on the head and is sort of reiterating what I said about the machine not being back compatible

Thanks for your help, I already tried these intel drives. Anyway, I was forced to reinstal W10 since there doesn't seem to be solution to this problem.

Sadly, as I previously noted some new hardware intended for Win 10 is not backward compatible with Win 7.

Well if you have to use 10 then it is a lot better than the first release stuff I am running it on three machines now and you can customise it with whatever changes you like yourself.

Me I just got rid of that dreadful app crap on the opening desktop and replaced it with the usual stuff as 7 Control Panel, This PC (Computer) Command prompt you can add to the taskbar etc etc The settings well again you can set them as you please. Good luck.

I don't believe it's incompatible per se, it's just that no one bothered with the drivers.

Yeah, I did exactly that, I also did a clean installation without all the acer bloatware, so hopefuly this will help with my wifi issues.

Most Skylake Chipsets and CPUs are NOT compatible with Windows 7.
