This has been an issue on both my old/new PC, I cant ever figure out how to fix this but it's been driving me mad. It randomly just gets worse at the worst times. I ran LatencyMon for a few minutes and got this: Audio pops - Pastebin.com

This latency issue has been going on since my old PC, my current one is only less than a month old and its been doing it to. Lots of audio pops and dropouts.

A lot of the main ones I see come up are:
hal.dll
ataport.sys
ndis.sys
USBPORT.sys (Fixed by disabling USB3.0 apparently)
NETIO.sys
iusb3xhc.sys

You list the sound card as AMD High Definition Audio Device, which is sound for HDMI, not the regular PC sound. Are you using HDMI?

The regular PC sound would be RealTek, IDT, etc.

Are you using Wi-Fi or wired cable for internet? Wi-Fi is a known cause of your problem.

The iusb3xhc.sys comes up quite a bit when doing google searches for your problem. From what I can find it has something to do with the USB3.0.

Yea I figured it was so I went into BIOS and disabled 3.0 and move all my stuff to 2.0, but it didnt seem to change anything.

I have USB 3.0 and do not have the problems, so it may not be USB 3.0 but some driver. I use my PC for my recording studio so Latency, noises, etc are very important. My system is clean with the Latency Mon. I was using a Gigabyte GAZ77X UD5H motherboard but it developed problems and I've switched to an ASRock Z77 motherboard - both have USB3.0.

As your old PC and new one have the same problem, what is common (same) with the two? Hardware or software.

BTW, here is he way to post screenshots on this forum.

Well hardware-wise, the only things that are the same are 2 HDD's that I took from my old PC to my new one. My old one was an older version of the stock Dell Inspiron 620 with an added graphics card and HDD were the only 2 aftermarket items. Software, very similar, same antivirus, same PC diagnostics and cleaning software, same games, same browser...etc.

Considering you are using the old hard drives from the Dell system, did you do a complete "clean" install on the new system? (Clean install - reformat the hard drive and install Windows, drivers, software). If you didn't do a clean install the problems you had could very well still be there.

I had originally a 500GB and 1TB in my Dell, the 500GB was for booting and basic stuff like Word documents. The 1TB was everything else, like most of my programs, Steam games, music, etc. I wiped my 500GB and reinstalled Win 7 but never wiped the 1TB.

If you did a clean install on the 500GB drive, but left your programs on the other drive, the programs need to be reinstalled to work or to work properly. If you didn't reinstall that is one potential.

I believe I've re-installed most of them by now, I haven't had a good time to sit and check them all to be working 100% yet. You think maybe one of them could be giving me the issues?

Anything is possible - "Murphy's Law".

As you have the OS and drivers on the 500GB drive, temporarily disconnect the other drive then boot up and see what happens.

I installed Chrome and along with Chrome it automatically installed the google updater. I started having clicks, dropouts, etc. I uninstalled Chrome but I still had them, as it turned out the google updater was the culprit. I used Revo Uninstaller Pro program to try and get rid of it but couldn't. I had to manually edit the registry and startup to get it out of my system.

I understand, however, you have to do something then wait and see if the problem returns. It may take a while to isolate what is causing it.
